Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR lead for the site, supporting leaders across all people matters.
  • Partner with site leadership to deliver the people strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead employee relations activity including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies and health & safety standards.
  • Coach and develop line managers to build strong, capable leadership.
  • Manage HR data, reporting and metrics to support decision‐making.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner in a site‐based environment (manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or similar).
  • Strong employee relations expertise and confidence operating in a unionised or operational setting.
  • Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable being hands‐on.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Up‐to‐date knowledge of UK employment law.
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum; Level 7 desirable).
