The role involves:
- Leading investigations into customer, supplier, and internal quality non-conformances, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Supporting operational compliance by preparing for BRC, customer, and third-party audits while maintaining accurate quality documentation and regulatory records.
- Collaborating with commercial, supply chain, product management, and operational teams to resolve quality issues and ensure consistent delivery of compliant products.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality trends, monitoring supplier performance, reducing operational risks, and enhancing food safety and quality processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years' experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing, ingredient distribution, or a related FMCG environment.
- Strong working knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, CAPA management, and root cause analysis techniques including FMEA, 5 Whys, and Fishbone.
- Proven experience conducting supplier audits, managing customer complaints, investigating non-conformances, and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, supply chain, commercial, and technical teams.
- A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
