This Buyer role is a new position and is ideal for an individual who wants to progress their career in an environment with progression opportunities. Excellent flexible working - 2 days a week in the office and the rest from home.
The role: As Buyer you will develop, implement, and review a trading strategy for a specific food product range developing innovative buying strategies which exceed customer expectations. The Buyer will create and deliver the category vision focusing on growing cash sales and margin delivery, as well as building long-lasting mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers. In the role, the Buyer will source new suppliers and products that will excite consumers and create value, choice and quality growing sales and margin. The Buyer will develop and manage a cost reduction strategy that delivers targeted margin and will have a strong understanding of market dynamics, commodities etc. Using data and insights and working with internal and external stakeholders you will develop the strategic plan that will deliver long-term growth.
