The role: As Senior Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of a key retail account, driving sustainable sales growth, margin performance, and long-term strategic development.

You will lead the customer relationship, develop compelling joint business plans, and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Full P&L responsibility for a major retail account.

Develop and deliver Joint Business Plans and customer growth strategies.

Lead commercial negotiations to drive sales, margin, and market share.

Work closely with Category, Marketing, and Innovation teams to deliver best-in-class customer and NPD plans.

Evaluate promotional performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Provide accurate forecasting and performance reporting.

Mentor and develop junior team members while championing a high-performance culture.

Ideal candidate: Proven success managing major UK grocery retail accounts.

Experience at Commercial Manager level within FMCG or food manufacturing.

Strong track record of delivering profitable growth and building strategic customer relationships.

Experience in own label and/or branded products.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, presentation, and influencing skills.

A confident leader with experience coaching, mentoring, and developing others.

Resilient, proactive, commercially focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Highly organised with a hands-on approach and the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.
