This Promotions Assistant role is ideal for an individual who wants to progress their career in a growing retailer. Excellent flexible working - 3 days a week in the office and the rest from home (offer flexible hours).

The role: As Promotions Assistant you will support the implementation of all promotions and pricing changes within Trading Systems. The Promotions Assistant will provide administrative data and process support to the commercial team to help improve accuracy and reduction of risk. The Promotions Assistant will maintain promotional data, check for errors, and escalate issues when required. In the role, the Promotions Assistant will aid with weekly price checks, promotion reviews and reporting packs. The Promotions Assistant will upload and validate product lists, promotion mechanics and funding details. The Promotions Assistant will ensure the promotions calendar and supporting documents are accurate and up to date. Working alongside trading assistants, category teams and demand planning, the Promotions Assistant will gather information and aim to resolve queries.

Ideal candidate: This Promotions Assistant role is ideal for commercially minded individuals with administration or data entry experience who are seeking their next opportunity, as well as graduates looking to start their careers in a commercial trading environment. It is essential to be comfortable working with data and structured processes. In addition, you will demonstrate high attention to detail, an organized approach and good Excel skills. Working as part of a team you must have excellent relationship building skills, able to communicate across multiple teams. As Promotions Assistant you must have a willingness to learn pricing systems and promotional processes. You will have a positive attitude, reliable sense of character, and ability to follow structured routines.
