The role:

  • Head of HR / Senior HR Manager position within a manufacturing setting
  • 34 days per week on-site in Northamptonshire
  • Ownership of labour planning and workforce coverage
  • Lead recruitment and retention strategies
  • Optimise shift patterns and workforce structure
  • Drive training and development initiatives across the site
  • Oversee performance management processes
  • Manage HR administration (payroll coordination, appraisals, goal setting)
  • Play a key role in developing and embedding culture

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role within FMCG, manufacturing, or similar
  • Strong expertise in workforce planning and employee relations
  • Ability to operate both strategically and in a hands-on capacity
  • Track record of improving retention and driving performance
  • Experience supporting and influencing leadership teams
  • Highly organised, pragmatic, and confident in a fast-moving environment
