The role involves the following responsibilities:
- Supplier monitoring including new supplier approval and evaluating risk assessments.
- Animal feed and organic approval.
- Participating in HACCP meetings.
- Approving manufacturing orders and resolving any questions or queries related to this.
- Supporting the quality department with updating and reviewing product documentation, labelling, specifications, and packaging including COA, SDS, allergens, GMO, and animal feed.
- Continuous improvement of the QMS and participation in projects identified by the business.
Ideal candidate:
- Highly desirable: Mandarin speaking.
- Strong knowledge of Quality/Technical Requirements and food industry standards including HACCP, BRC Food, Agents and Brokers.
- 3+ years experience in a quality or technical role in R&D in the food or ingredients industry.
- Experience in auditing suppliers and resolving non-conformances or complaints.
- Desirable experience working with retail online specification systems.
- Understanding of food legislation/labelling is essential.
