Our client is a market-leading bakery business, renowned for their high-quality bakery products that are available to grab on-the-go. They offer over 500+ premium frozen baked good products and pride themselves on innovation and high-quality products.

The role involves building and nurturing relationships with customers to support them on their customer journey. Responsibilities include taking inbound calls to assist customers with general queries or order support, as well as making calls consistently to customers. You will check that all details are logged correctly and action order amendments and add-ons into the system accurately and efficiently. Ensure that all your territory customers are aware of promotions, new product developments, catalogue updates, and allergen changes when relevant.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be based on the number of calls made and the length of time spent on calls. There is a fantastic commission structure in place based on hitting these KPIs, which is reviewed quarterly. You will maintain communication with channel managers to identify opportunities in national/regional accounts, such as non-trading or poorly trading accounts.

This is an office-based position for 40 hours per week. The customer office is open Sunday to Friday, and you would be expected to work 1 in every 4 Sundays.

Ideal candidate: You will need to be a great communicator and be confident making calls to a large number of customers. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and see the value in the commission scheme. You will have great organisational skills and be an all-round hard worker. You will be resilient and happy making cold calls.

Benefits & details: £27,000 basic salary + commission earning opportunity. 5 days a week in their offices in Southall from 8 am to 5 pm (Sunday hours 8:30 am to 4:30 pm). Training and development invested in you by the business.
