R&D Controller role within a category leading healthy food brand
Location: Dorset (Hybrid working)Salary: £80-85k plus car and package Our client: Our client is a global branded food manufacturer with instantly recognisable leading brands A business with strong brand heritage producing sustainably sourced natural and healthy food This business critical role will own the development and creation of the product portfolio We're looking for an experienced R&D Controller to lead the creation and continuous improvement of a portfolio of FMCG food products.

This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving innovation from concept to launch, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring products remain best-in-class in quality, performance and consumer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Define and deliver the product innovation strategy and pipeline.
Lead end-to-end product development, from concept through to launch.
Drive continuous improvement across existing products, enhancing taste, texture, quality and consumer appeal.
Leverage consumer insights, trends and market data to shape product decisions.
Lead and develop R&D and product development capabilities.
Build strong partnerships with suppliers, research organisations and innovation networks.
Team leadership About You We're looking for a commercially-minded innovation leader who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of consumers and markets.
Degree-qualified with a strong background in Food Science, R&D or Product Development.
Proven success launching and scaling FMCG products.
Experienced in product renovation and quality improvement.
Able to translate consumer insights into commercially successful products.
Strong stakeholder management, project leadership and influencing skills.
Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement and delivering exceptional consumer experiences.
