The role:
- As Trade Planning Manager you will build and execute trade driving plans and initiatives that drive lead sales and customer engagement.
- The Trade Planning Manager will define and implement the end to end strategy and plan including brand communications and plans.
- In the role the Trade Planning Manager will lead the promotional trade driving strategy across all metrics including meal deals, multi buys, charity partnerships, etc. ensuring value and quality messages are reinforced.
- The Trade Planning Manager will define and implement the style, tone and content for brand messaging working closely with the brand team
Ideal candidate:
- This Trade Planning Manager role is ideal for an individual who is working either for a grocery retailer or FMCG supplier within category, trade or customer planning/management.
- It is essential to have demonstrable experience of promotional end-to-end process management and be able to evidence commercial impact.
- Ideally you will have had budget responsibility for events
- In the role the Trade Planning Manager will be working with buying, marketing and finance teams, ideally you will have experience of this and will have a proven track record at working cross functionally to deliver a strategy
- It is crucial to have fantastic communication and influencing skills along with reporting and attention to detail.
