The Opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of this innovative company by driving sales and building strong retailer partnerships, both in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Primary focus: Drive sales in the retail channel across the UK, managing and growing existing relationships with major retailers such as Tesco, Aldi, and Lidl.
  • New business development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Healthy Snacking category.
  • Collaborative environment: You will work closely with Marketing, Innovation, and Supply Chain teams to strategically enhance and grow customer relationships.
  • Growth across Europe: A secondary focus of the role will involve working closely with the General Manager for Europe to identify key growth opportunities in European markets.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A proven Account Manager with a successful track record in selling to major UK grocery and discount retailers, with strong knowledge of the UK retail market.
  • Experience in the healthy snacking or confectionery categories is highly beneficial, as is experience working with Private Label products.
  • A strong background in branded products, whether from a large blue-chip company or a challenger brand (SME), will give you a competitive edge as the company looks to expand their branded footprint.
  • You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do attitude, with a history of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable working independently, and can hit the ground running with energy and enthusiasm.
