Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR lead for the site, supporting leaders across all people matters
- Partner with site leadership to deliver the people strategy aligned to business objectives
- Lead employee relations activity including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
- Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies and health & safety standards
- Coach and develop line managers to build strong, capable leadership
- Manage HR data, reporting and metrics to support decision-making
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner in a site-based environment (manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or similar)
- Strong employee relations expertise and confidence operating in a unionised or operational setting
- Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable being hands-on
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum; Level 7 desirable)
