The Role
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with the customers to unlock opportunities for the business.
- Developing and leading the strategic category vision.
- Lead Range Reviews & Category Performance Reviews.
- Build collaborative and independent relationships with key customer stakeholders to become a trusted partner and influence change.
- Develop objective space to sales recommendations and ensuring this is aligned to range review objectives and Category Vision growth opportunities.
The Candidate
- You will have proven category management experience working within an FMCG environment.
- Your approach must be very analytical in order to influence the category agenda.
- Experience of a variety of shopper data types.
- Private label experience would also be an advantage but not a must-have.
- The role will involve cross-functional team working; therefore, the ability to successfully develop and maintain relationships by adopting a collaborative working style is crucial.
