Global business with strong presence across all retail channels – grocery, online, high street, wholesale & education. Products cater for all age groups and are used every day by consumers. The role involves managing a mix of existing accounts and developing new business across a variety of customer channels. You will have full accountability for your own customer base, likely to include wholesalers, resellers, independents, buying groups and high street customers. There is a chance to drive and develop the brand further in this area and lead this channel for the business.

You will report into the UK Head of Sales & Managing Director and be part of a small close‐knit team. The role includes building long‐lasting relationships and growing the business. It will be a mix of customer visits, office time to manage some accounts internally and adapting to new ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing all Joint Business Plans (JBPs) while working closely with the rest of the team.
  • Negotiating commercial terms, pricing and promotion across your customer base.
  • Having previous territory, account management or field sales experience in an FMCG category.
  • Managing your own diary effectively and being able to travel to customers.

Knowledge and experience of managing wholesalers, buying groups, independent retailers or resellers would be beneficial but not essential. Experience in a non‐food consumer goods area would also be beneficial. You should be personable, likeable and ambitious, with strong commercial acumen and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
