Recruiting a Head of Supply Chain, Operations and Distribution for a 12-month FTC to lead a new project focused on business expansion. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, highly experienced individual who wants to join an organisation where they can bring their expertise and advice to add value and contribute to the growth strategy. An inspirational leader, who has a passion for working within the food service industry delivering ambitious growth. This project role is for an initial 12 months but could evolve into a longer-term project.
The successful candidate will design, set up and stabilise a new UK distribution operation. They will create an end-to-end supply chain that is compliant, scalable and within cost parameters. In the role, they will create all processes and systems and ensure these are integrated into the wider business.
Developing the end-to-end strategy will include:
- Warehouse strategy and set up
- Systems, processes and compliance
- Commercial & Cost framework
You will have a breadth of supply chain, operations and distribution experience gained from the consumer sector. Ideally, you will have been classically trained with a large organisation but will also have experience gained from a scale-up/start-up SME. It is essential that you can demonstrate a proven track record of designing and developing the end-to-end operation across all functions.
For this role, it is essential that you have fantastic stakeholder engagement skills and a proven track record of project management. You will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where there is a clear goal and objectives. Having excellent communication skills, you will be highly personable and able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. You will thrive in a fast-paced, values-led culture which has to constantly adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
