The opportunity:

• A career-defining role to set and lead the UK&I category vision, influencing at the highest levels with both customers and internally.
• Take charge of a high-performing team of category professionals, mentoring, developing, and inspiring future leaders.
• Be the voice of the shopper, driving insight-led strategies that unlock sustainable growth across categories and customers.
• Partner with commercial and marketing leaders to create category-led growth initiatives that shape business strategy and execution.
• Lead the agenda on category capability and shopper insight, embedding best-in-class practices and raising the bar across the UK&I organisation.
• Act as a key driver of customer engagement and strategic influence, delivering both immediate impact and long-term transformation.

The ideal candidate:

• An accomplished FMCG category leader with a proven track record of building strategies that deliver growth within the UK Grocery Retail market.
• Commercially sharp, analytically strong, and passionate about turning insights into action.
• A natural leader and coach, skilled at developing teams and creating high-performance cultures.
• Highly collaborative and influential, able to command credibility with senior stakeholders and customers alike.
• Energised by the chance to take ownership of the category agenda in a business with scale, ambition, and investment.

Benefits & details:

• Salary pitched at c.£90–110k (DOE) plus strong wider package (bonus, car allowance, pension, healthcare).
