The food quality technologist will be responsible for supplier monitoring including new supplier approval, evaluating risk assessments, as well as animal feed and organic approval. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in HACCP meetings
- Approving manufacturing orders
- Resolving any questions or queries related to this
- Supporting the quality department with updating and reviewing product documentation, labelling, specifications and packaging including COA, SDS, allergens, GMO and animal feed
- Continuous improvement of the QMS
- Participating in projects identified by the business to further this
Ideal candidate:
- Highly desirable: Mandarin speaking
- Strong knowledge of Quality/Technical Requirements and food industry standards including HACCP, BRC Food, Agents and Brokers
- 3+ years’ experience in a quality or technical role in the food industry
