An opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to join the team, managing and developing the Argos account.
The role involves:
- Managing Argos, a highly strategic account for the business.
- Reporting into the UK Head of E-Commerce and being part of the wider UK commercial team.
- Building on long-lasting relationships with the retailer and growing the business.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to manage your own P&L and budgets.
- Developing and executing all JBPs while working closely with the rest of the team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to use your own initiative and work across multiple product categories.
- Being adaptable and involved in other UK retailers longer-term.
- Ambition to learn and develop your career within a market leading non-food supplier.
Ideal candidates will need:
- UK retail national account management experience, ideally across e-commerce.
- Experience of managing Argos or Amazon would be highly advantageous.
- To have operated in consumer goods or FMCG, ideally in a non-food category.
- A background in a National Account Manager role and be open to a new challenge in a market leading business.
- To view this as the next career step and be looking to progress into a higher level, strategic national account role.
- To be personable, likeable, entrepreneurial and ambitious.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to use Excel and PowerPoint where necessary and present to retailers at a high level.
