Our client is a leading, international premium branded non-food consumer goods business that manufactures products for the home. They are a design-oriented, high-end non-food brand renowned for quality and traditional design, having won numerous industry awards for quality and innovation, and maintaining an outstanding reputation in the industry.

High levels of customer service are offered to major UK and international retailers across multiple channels including online, department stores, and independent retail. The company is prominent in major UK retailers, particularly in department stores and online. The working culture is autonomous, compassionate, and employees are empowered.

The role involves the management of all hospitality customers across a mix of hotels, restaurants, contract catering, and distributors. There is a broad range of existing accounts with strong potential for new business within this channel. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador within the hospitality channel, driving this area forward with a high-quality product range.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being well organised and structured
  • Building long-term relationships
  • Working closely with all other areas of the business including product development, marketing, and wider commercial functions
  • Travelling to customers as required

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in a branded non-food area or a design-led product area
  • Experience within the hospitality channel selling to hotels, restaurant groups, and contract catering
  • A background in a brand or business where brand representation is of high importance
  • A track record of building strong relationships and developing new business
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels

This home-based role offers lots of autonomy and the freedom to make the position your own in a great company. Location-wise, the ideal candidate will be Midlands-based, but this is not essential. Occasional travel to the Worcestershire head office may be required.
