A privately owned, fast-growing FMCG business supplying major UK and international retailers. The company has a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and long-term partnerships and they are recognised for delivering high-quality products at scale.

Now looking to expand their Category team and hire a Category Development Lead to manage various retailer relationships including Sainsburys, Tesco & M&S. Take full ownership for the category strategy and development plans with major UK customers.

As Category Development Lead you will define and implement Category Growth drivers with both internal and external stakeholders. This business has broad access to data so you will use Kantar, Nielsen, Circana, dunnhumby, Nectar, EPOS data etc. Cross functional collaboration will be key to success in this role – working with NPD, Sales and Marketing to support future growth initiatives. Influencing frequent Range Reviews & Category Performance Reviews.

Ideal Category Development Lead Candidate:

  • You will have FMCG Category & Insights experience within a food & drink supplier.
  • You may already be a Category Development Lead looking for a new challenge.
  • Highly numerate and analytical, able to draw insights and conclusions from data.

Salary between £70-75k + £7k Car Allowance. Bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package. Hybrid-working with office based in Cambridgeshire.
