- We are now seeking an ambitious Commercial Finance Controller to lead across key financial tasks.
The role:
- The Commercial Finance Controller will play a pivotal role in providing accurate commercial finance reporting.
- Key responsibilities include sales reporting (weekly and monthly), performance tracking and budgeting and forecasting.
- Will work extremely closely with the wider commercial team, ensuring sound financial decisions are made across the business and aligning business goals with financial capabilities.
- Will share reports with the wider team (both UK and international) and advise on any potential risks or opportunities anticipated over the coming year. Following generation of reports, will have ability to drive financial insight, to support business decisions.
- Will be either a part qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Can evidence strong commercial finance/business partnering experience.
- Confident within sales reporting – this is not a purely transactional accounting role so experience preparing detailed and accurate sales reports (including vs target) is key.
- Will have experience within FMCG or wider consumer goods business.
- Will be highly analytical and has high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Will have advanced Excel skills (Power BI desirable also).
- Proactive and thrives in fast paced environments – no two days are the same in this business, so the successful individual will be agile and responsive.
