Market leading non-food consumer goods manufacturer supplying everyday household products. UK manufacturer with innovation at its core. High focus on sustainability, environmental impact and using ethical manufacturing processes. Sell to major UK retailers across grocery, discount and high street. Culturally it’s a close-knit business, providing autonomy, freedom and trust.

Recruiting for a UK Business Account Manager to look after major UK retail accounts. As Business Account Manager, responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships across a portfolio of accounts across grocery and discounters.
  • Having full P&L, taking a category led selling approach and utilising all necessary data.
  • Working closely with all other areas of the business including product development and marketing functions.
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered, undertaking all critical path management where required.
  • Being diligent, analytical and driving growth across your account base.

Will need to have experience of managing major UK retailers across grocery or discounters at National Account or Senior National Account Manager level. Previous FMCG experience in any category and open to moving into a new product area. Experience in a manufacturing business would be beneficial but not essential. Be comfortable in a product driven business and able to learn all new processes. Able to take a category led selling approach and utilise all data.

Great opportunity to be part of an autonomous, stable business with a number of reputable brands. Basic salary up to £70,000 depending on experience, £5000 car allowance, up to 20% bonus and wider benefits. Hybrid role – 3 days per week in West Yorkshire based head office.
