Seven Resourcing are seeking an experienced Children & Families Social Worker to join a dynamic team in the Highlands. This full-time, temporary position offers £42 per hour plus a £100 per week allowance.

In this role, you will champion high standards of professional social work practice, ensuring children receive the best possible care. You will apply your knowledge of children and families’ legislation and regulations while collaborating effectively across the Highlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote best practice in social work to support positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Apply children and families regulations and legislation when assessing and supporting cases.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
  • Manage a varied caseload while maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Undertake visits, assessments, and reports in line with statutory requirements.
Applicant Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work full-time in the UK; no sponsorship offered.
  • Social Work qualification (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).
  • Registration with SSSC.
  • Completed ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within children and families services.
  • Previous fostering experience or transferrable skills from a relevant role.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Availability to work across the Highlands as required.
