Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join a local authority property team in Northumberland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled property professional with strong experience in estate management and property disposals to work within a busy public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied portfolio of land and property assets.
- Lead on estate management activities, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and negotiations.
- Deliver property disposals and acquisitions, ensuring best value for the organisation.
- Provide professional property advice to internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Prepare reports, valuations, and recommendations relating to property transactions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and local authority policies.
- Significant experience working as a Senior Surveyor or Estate Management Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of property asset management and disposals.
- Experience working within a local authority or public sector environment is desirable.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage a varied property portfolio and work independently.
37 hours per week. Standard working hours typically between 08:00 – 17:30. Initial contract expected to run for at least 6 months.
