Seven Resourcing are recruiting an experienced Community Justice Social Worker to support Criminal Justice Social Work services in West Lothian (Livingston). This is a high-impact role focused on public protection, risk management, and effective supervision of individuals within the community.

As a Community Justice Social Worker, you will play a key role in safeguarding the public while supporting service users to reduce offending behaviour and manage risk effectively. You will work as part of an integrated partnership, delivering high-quality, consistent interventions in line with national and local standards.

Your work will contribute directly to the responsibilities of the Responsible Authority under the Management of Offenders (Scotland) Act 2005, with a strong emphasis on assessment, supervision, and risk management.

  • Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and risk management planning
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to reduce risk and harm
  • Contribute to MAPPA processes and public protection planning

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work and registration with the appropriate regulatory body
  • LSCMI training is essential
  • Experience in Criminal Justice Social Work is highly desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of risk assessment and management frameworks
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
