Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Leaving Care Personal Advisor to start a new role in Warrington. As a Leaving Care Personal Advisor, you will work with young people from their 16th birthday, forming relationships and contributing to their pathway plan on their journey into independence. The role involves working with a wide range of differing needs/complexities and supporting one of the most vulnerable groups within society. You must be able to work with partner agencies and be prepared to travel/respond to crisis as they arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out duties of a Personal Advisor under the terms of the Children Leaving Care Act 2000.
  • Advise and assist social workers in a range of tasks related to preparing young people for independence.
  • Support care leavers living independently in the community.
  • Work in partnership with a range of other agencies ensuring that young people leaving care receive the highest possible standard of service.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience working as a Personal Advisor.
  • Qualifications: Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject to the role.
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK.

Hours: 37 hours per week. Hybrid working.

Travel: Full UK driving license.
