Seven Resourcing are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join a dedicated Adults Learning Disabilities Team in Alloa. This is a full-time temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate and flexible working options, supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and achieve positive outcomes.

In this role, you will work with adults with learning disabilities, their families, and carers to assess needs, develop support plans, and ensure access to appropriate services within the community.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
  • Deliver high standards of social work practice within adults learning disabilities services
  • Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with relevant legislation and frameworks
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and multi-agency professionals
  • Promote independence, inclusion, and person-centred outcomes
  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping
  • Complete statutory assessments, visits, and reports
  • Support safeguarding processes and risk management where required
Applicant Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW)
  • Registered with the SSSC
  • Completed ASYE (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within Adult Social Care or Learning Disabilities services
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities in a community setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work across Alloa as required
