Rise at Seven is looking for a Digital PR Executive to join our growing team. This role sits across our Digital PR team, working on reactive PR, campaign-led content, or a blend of both depending on where your strengths lie and where the business needs you most.
In reactive PR, you'll be the one spotting the moments and moving fast, turning news hooks into high-authority coverage for clients. In campaigns, you'll be executing planned, creative Digital PR stories that earn placements and links in top-tier publications. Either way, the goal is the same: delivering results. You'll work across a range of clients and industries, from tech to beauty to finance, and you'll be a core part of an execution team that takes that seriously.
About You
- You have some experience in a PR role whether at an agency or in-house.
- You have a positive energy and a can-do attitude.
- You have a natural curiosity and ambition to learn more.
- You hold and maintain strong journalist relationships across a range of industries.
- You are curious about understanding SEO and Digital PR.
- You know a PR-worthy story and can draft high-quality press releases.
- You may have evidence of delivering results for clients or a track record of gaining placements in high-authority publications.
- German language knowledge would be beneficial, but is not a prerequisite.
Responsibilities
- Consistently generate high-quality media coverage and backlinks through media relations.
- Lead research on the media landscape, ensuring our teams are on top of media trends and evolution.
- Understand what stories and content press like to cover - your finger is always on the pulse of the latest news trends.
- Understand what stories and content the industry creates and gets talked about/linked to.
- Be aware of what competitors are doing in terms of their reactive marketing and to land media placements.
- Spot opportunities to deliver above and beyond for our clients, the link target, and spot new hooks.
- Write strong press releases for a variety of clients and stories.
- Pull and analyse data for reactive PR stories.
- Write SEO-considered copy for content purposes.
- Build relationships with journalists to land coverage, as well as influencers and others.
- Advise colleagues in other teams (such as creatives) on the newsworthiness of ideas.
- Develop and maintain media lists.
- Create coverage reports that showcase our success.
- Monitor news, trends and cultural conversations to identify opportunities for clients.
- Understand your clients and their competitors.
- Participate in creative sessions that result in brilliant, creative and innovative ideas for your clients.
- Learn about the technical aspects of SEO to help develop your understanding of digital PR.
- Keep your team up to date on results and challenges.
