Purpose:
As a Junior Agile Delivery Manager, you support and increasingly own effective delivery within your squad(s), helping workflow from planning through to release in a controlled, transparent and outcome-focused way. You facilitate Agile practices, maintain delivery momentum, manage risks and dependencies, and improve ways of working using data, tooling and AI-enabled approaches. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Testing, Design and other colleagues, you help create clear delivery focus, strong team collaboration and a safe environment where issues are surfaced early and improvements are acted on.
Responsibilities:
β’ Facilitate core Agile ceremonies independently and ensure they are focused, productive and drive clear outcomes
β’ Work with Product to maintain a clear, well-groomed and prioritised backlog, improving readiness and clarity ahead of delivery
β’ Support squad planning and delivery from sprint planning through to release, helping the team meet realistic commitments consistently
β’ Track progress, delivery health, risks, blockers and dependencies, escalating or coordinating resolution where needed
β’ Proactively resolve impediments, including those requiring cross-team coordination, while knowing when to seek support
β’ Use delivery metrics and insight to identify trends, reduce waste and rework, and improve flow, predictability and quality
β’ Own squad-level roadmap visibility and support quarterly planning preparation and follow-through
β’ Facilitate discussions that create clarity, alignment and decisions across the squad and relevant stakeholders
β’ Communicate delivery status, key dates, risks, dependencies, trade-offs and impacts clearly and proactively
β’ Support incident resolution and ensure learning from incidents and retrospectives is applied to improve future delivery
β’ Introduce and follow through on small experiments and improvements to ways of working, using a test-and-learn mindset
β’ Use tooling, automation and AI-enabled support to streamline delivery effectively while retaining accountability and control
β’ Promote accountability, ownership and continuous improvement within the squad
β’ Actively foster a safe, supportive and collaborative environment where people feel confident to speak up, challenge constructively and improve
β’ Contribute to the Agile Delivery Chapter through participation, knowledge sharing and consistent practice
β’ Operate confidently within governance, compliance and regulatory expectations, including Consumer Duty principles where relevant
β’ Act consistently in accordance with 7IM values, policies and compliance standards
β’ Complete other reasonable duties as required by your manager and 7IM
