Seven Hills School is looking for a full-time Class Teacher to cover maternity leave.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a class tutor for pupils with complex physical and learning needs.
  • Provide rich and challenging learning experiences across the curriculum.
  • Establish excellent relationships with students and deliver a wide range of subjects to pupils with very low level learning.
  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including those with communication, behaviour, sensory, physical and/or medical disabilities.
  • Potentially deliver specialist subject teaching across the school; specify areas of strength in your application.
  • Collaborate with the experienced team of teaching and support staff and specialist colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience and qualifications within SEND preferred.
  • Enthusiastic, committed and skilled professional with a willingness to learn.
  • Early Career Stage teachers welcomed; programme of support and development available.
  • Up-to-date Team Teach qualification or willingness to train for this essential qualification.
