Base pay range: $19.00/hr – $21.00/hr
Overview
Pay range from $19.00-$21.00 hourly.
Responsibilities include: meal preparation and service, kitchen maintenance, and general house services, as assigned by the Chef Manager.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 3 well-balanced meals and 3 snacks per resident daily. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas. Monitor the safety and security of the kitchen, including knives and equipment.
- Order and maintain inventory of linens, personal health items, and cleaning supplies.
- Assist the Chef Manager with documentation and menu planning in compliance with the Bureau of Nutrition.
- Properly store all food items and train staff on food storage and equipment use.
Qualifications
- Completed training in culinary arts, restaurant management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in food preparation, storage, and service.
- High school degree required.
- Safe Serve Certification required if not already certified.
- Basic understanding of Bureau of Nutrition Guidelines and Board of Health guidelines.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
