- Under the guidance of the Building Control Manager, support the Building Control Service by processing Building Regulation applications to ensure all work complies with necessary standards.
- Conduct comprehensive site inspections and assess building plans to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations and the Building Act 1984.
- Assist in initiating enforcement actions when necessary to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Actively engage in personal skill development and maintain accurate reports on construction and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication for building projects.
- Provide excellent front-line customer service by efficiently handling inquiries related to building safety and compliance.
