What You Will Do
- Deliver customer-focused repairs and maintenance services for void properties, ensuring quality, performance, and value for money
- Lead and manage operatives, supervisors, and contractors in line with service standards and legislative requirements
- Champion health and safety compliance across all maintenance activities
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Oversee contractor, supplier, and materials performance, ensuring effective procurement practices
- Promote effective use of housing and works order systems to improve data accuracy and service delivery
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints efficiently, using feedback to improve future service provision
- HNC/HND in a construction-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
- Relevant Health and Safety qualification with experience managing compliance in maintenance and construction works
- Proven experience leading housing repairs and maintenance teams, specifically within voids services
- Strong understanding of void processes, housing legislation, and contract management
- Ability to analyse performance data and make sound commercial recommendations
- Experience motivating and developing teams to achieve high performance and service standards
