The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Operations Director to support the next phase of the company's growth and operational development. This is a newly created leadership role responsible for overseeing project delivery and service operations, ensuring effective coordination across the business and driving continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the project delivery and service functions.
- Oversee projects from order through to commissioning and customer handover.
- Ensure a smooth transition from project completion into service and maintenance.
- Take ownership of the service division, including responsibility for its P&L.
- Drive improvements to operational processes and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support the implementation of CRM, ERP and MRP systems to improve business efficiency.
- Work closely with department managers to improve communication, planning and delivery.
- Monitor operational performance, budgets and KPIs.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide operational support where required.

- The successful candidate is likely to have a background in Operations Management, Project Management or Service Management.
