Our Duty Managers are central to creating an atmosphere that feels dynamic, welcoming, and uniquely ours. They lead the Front of House team on duty, making sure every audience member, artist, and visitor has the best experience possible - from the first hello to the last drink at the bar.

We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and brings both professionalism and personality to the role. You will already have experience supervising a team in a live performance or cultural setting, with sharp communication skills, confidence in handling responsibility, and a natural ability to inspire others. Most of all, you will have a love for theatre, performance, and the arts in all its forms, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, coupled with the ability to motivate and inspire others to maintain those same standards.

This is a flexible role within our pool of Duty Managers, with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled monthly based on your availability, and the needs of the organisation, and include a mix of daytime, evening, weekend (including Sunday work), as the building operates seven days a week.

Job Requirements:
  • Previous duty management or supervisory experience in a Front of House environment, ideally within a theatre or arts space
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills; able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills and a commitment to delivering an excellent audience experience
  • Ability to exercise initiative, take responsibility, and resolve issues independently
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused, with excellent attention to detail and reliability
  • Flexible in relation to duties and working hours, including evenings and weekends, responding to organisational needs
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures
  • Competent in basic IT applications and experience with Box Office ticketing system
