The Role

  • Opportunity for an ambitious National Account Manager to manage a major Top 4 grocery account within a high-performing customer team.
  • Full ownership of a significant P&L, driving revenue, market share and profitability across a strategically important customer.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning, promotional strategy, pricing and commercial negotiations to deliver measurable business results.
  • Opportunity to make a genuine commercial impact, influencing strategy and accelerating growth within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full account ownership, including forecasting, budgeting and delivery of account plans.
  • Build and maintain strong buyer and senior stakeholder relationships through insight-led selling.
  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities across distribution, rate of sale and profitability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain and Finance teams to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Manage all key commercial levers, including pricing, promotions and trade investment.
  • Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience managing major UK grocery accounts within a branded FMCG environment.
  • Strong commercial operator with experience managing sizeable and complex P&Ls.
  • Confident negotiator with a strong understanding of retailer dynamics, pricing and promotional strategy.
  • Analytical and insight-led, with the ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Agile, resilient and comfortable operating in a high-performance, high-growth environment.

Package & Additional Information

  • Up to £60k base, with £6k car allowance plus 10% annual bonus.
  • Excellent wider benefits package, including 10% pension, private medical insurance, life assurance and 25 days' holiday.
  • Homebased role with fortnightly London office presence and regular customer engagement.
