About the Role
As a Homes and Maintenance Partner you will manage a team of up to 12 Repairs Operatives and work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will oversee inspections, scheduling, ordering of repairs, monitor contractor performance, support continuous improvement and provide technical advice to keep customers satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support a team delivering repairs across our homes
- Monitor performance and drive improvements in line with service targets
- Manage income and expenditure to ensure repairs offer good value for money
- Ensure health and safety and customer service standards are met
- Apply a good understanding of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System
- Plan and prioritise work to meet agreed timescales
- Keep records and systems updated, including our Housing Management System
- Investigate and respond to complaints and enquiries
- Make sure team members have the right training and support
- Hold team meetings and one‑to‑one sessions
- Promote a culture of customer satisfaction, right first time and continuous improvement
