As we work towards creating a single operating model by April 2027, our Business Transformation team plays a vital role in shaping how we work. We’re now looking for a Project Coordinator to support this programme and help keep our projects running smoothly.
About the Role
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll provide essential support across our integration programme and wider transformation portfolio. You’ll work closely with Project Managers to organise activities, maintain accurate project information and ensure key tasks progress on time. You’ll coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, update logs, support governance processes and help embed consistent project management practices across the organisation. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work across multiple projects, build strong relationships and play a key part in keeping delivery on track.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams
- Track actions, deliverables and progress for Project Managers
- Prepare and maintain project documentation using agreed templates
- Organise meetings and workshops including agendas, logistics and notes
- Support governance processes and reporting cycles
- Update project plans and milestones
- Maintain risks, issues and dependency logs
- Update records in Verto (our PPM tool)
- Support communication with stakeholders
- Help develop process maps, requirements and guidance materials
- Contribute to continuous improvement across the transformation team

Must haves
- Experience in an administrative, coordination or support role – or transferable skills from early career roles, apprenticeships, internships, placements or customer‑facing environments
- Good general education (GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths)
- Interest in project management, business change or organisational improvement
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn new tools such as Verto
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative, proactive and adaptable
Nice to haves
- Degree, apprenticeship or training in business, project management or related fields
- Willingness to work towards a project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, APM PFQ)
- Experience supporting projects, programmes or change initiatives
