At SettleParadigm, we are proud to be the largest housing group in the region, managing over 30,000 homes across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire. Everything we do is about delivering excellent services, high quality homes, neighbourhoods we can be proud of and maximising the number of new affordable homes we build.
Through our merger we have brought together shared values, skills and ambition, so we can build more affordable homes and make an even bigger difference in the communities we serve. If you are ready to grow your career in a supportive, inclusive environment while helping to shape stronger communities, we would love to welcome you on our journey. Together, we are building a better future.
A role that keeps everything moving. Our Planned Works & Capital Works team plays a huge part in making sure our homes stay safe, modern and well‑maintained. From kitchen and bathroom refurbishments to roof replacements, window and door upgrades, redecoration programmes and zero‑carbon retrofit projects, this team is at the heart of improving the places our customers call home.
We are now looking for a highly organised, proactive Coordinator to join us on a 12‑month FTC and help keep our programmes running smoothly. About the role: You will work closely with our administrators, managers and delivery teams to support a wide range of planned works programmes. No two days will look the same; one moment you might be updating schedules or preparing documentation, the next you will be liaising with customers, contractors or colleagues to keep projects on track. You will also provide ad‑hoc support across Property Services, helping ensure our wider teams have the information and coordination they need to deliver excellent services.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting the delivery of planned works programmes including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing, redecoration and retrofit projects
- Working collaboratively with administrators, managers, contractors and internal teams
- Keeping customers updated throughout the duration of works
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and documentation
- Managing incoming enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Helping plan workloads, schedule activities and support project delivery
- Ensuring information is shared clearly and promptly with all stakeholders
- Providing general administrative and coordination support across Property Services
About you: You are someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys being the person who keeps everything running smoothly. You are organised, accurate, and confident communicating with a wide range of people - from customers to contractors to colleagues.
You will bring:
- A friendly, professional telephone manner and strong communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team, while also managing tasks independently
- A collaborative, inclusive approach to planning and problem‑solving
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Confidence updating databases and maintaining accurate records
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- A practical, 'hands-on' approach and plenty of common sense
Benefits: At SettleParadigm, we believe in creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow. Our comprehensive benefits and rewards package reflects this commitment.
- Annual salary: £31,074 + excellent benefits
- 25 days holiday, increasing with service, plus Christmas closure and buy options
- Generous pension scheme – up to 9.5% employer contribution via salary sacrifice
- Family-friendly leave: Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave
- Health cash plan – claim up to £1,800 for everyday health costs (plus free kids' cover)
- Life cover and income protection
- Flexible working – hybrid options, modern offices, free parking & EV charging
And that is just the beginning. We are also thrilled to provide:
- Mental Health First Aiders available to support
- Car leasing via salary sacrifice (for permanent colleagues subject to conditions)
- Funded training, qualifications & apprenticeships
- 3 paid volunteering days in the local communities
- Peer-recognition rewards platform
- Paid professional subscription (one per year)
Working Hours & Additional Pay: Participation in out-of-hours rota, with potential to boost base salary.
