We are now looking for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join us on a six month fixed term contract. This is a key role at a pivotal moment, supporting major procurement activity across Property Services and helping us deliver value, compliance and efficiency during a period of significant change.
About the Role
As a Procurement Business Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across SettleParadigm to deliver compliant and value for money procurement solutions. You will lead on complex procurement activity, support strategic decision making and act as a trusted advisor to teams across Property Services, Development, Finance and other areas of the organisation.
You will take ownership of the full procurement process from planning and sourcing through to evaluation, contract award and mobilisation. You will ensure all activity complies with UK public sector regulations and supports our organisational priorities. This is a hands on role where you will influence, guide and support colleagues. You will also play a key part in identifying savings, improving procurement practice and supporting merger related efficiencies.

- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and budget holders
- Ensure goods and services are procured effectively with the right quality and best value
- Provide expert advice throughout the full procurement lifecycle
- Lead high value procurement activity with clear and accurate documentation
- Analyse spend to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Evaluate bids using commercial, quality and social value criteria
- Ensure compliance with UK procurement legislation
- Support business planning with market intelligence and cost insights
- Challenge existing approaches to improve outcomes and deliver savings
What We're Looking For
Must haves
- Proven procurement management experience in housing, local government or wider public sector
- Experience delivering end to end procurement projects
- Experience using JCT contracts
- Experience with e tendering and contract management systems
- Knowledge of frameworks used in the housing sector
- Experience working in a business partnering model
- Experience procuring services relevant to housing associations
Essential knowledge and skills
- Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement legislation
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and market engagement
- Understanding of social value and sustainability in procurement
- Awareness of financial controls and audit requirements
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
