What you'll be doing (under the supervision of qualified lawyers):
- Managing your own caseload of civil litigation matters, including access injunctions, disrepair and housing management cases
- Drafting legal documents such as claim forms, pleadings, witness statements and court bundles
- Conducting legal research, liaising with courts and preparing disclosure materials
- Providing administrative support, including file maintenance, invoicing and correspondence
- Supporting internal stakeholders with legal queries and contributing to training and knowledge sharing
- Assisting with financial record-keeping and legal spend tracking
What We’re Looking For
Must haves:
- A degree in Law or equivalent, with LPC, BPC or CILEX preferred
- Experience managing a caseload in a legal environment, ideally within social housing, private practice or local authority
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and legal processes
- Excellent drafting, research and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
