About the Role
We’re offering a newly created permanent opportunity for Electrical Technicians (Compliance Testing) to join our EICR/Compliance Testing team. This mobile role covers our property portfolio across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and surrounding counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Complete installations, servicing, repairs, and partial rewires in domestic properties
- Perform annual emergency lighting tests and other compliance duties
- Deliver a first-time fix service with minimal disruption to residents
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and internal procedures
- Represent SettleParadigm professionally in residents’ homes
What We’re Looking For
Must haves
- Extensive experience in domestic installations, inspections, fault finding, servicing, and repairs
- Strong understanding of construction, building regulations, and health & safety
- Excellent communication skills for resident and colleague interactions
- Full valid UK manual driving licence
Essential certifications
- City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 and 3 (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition NVQ Level 3
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in inspection and testing
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in inspection and testing

- Confidence in working independently across a mobile patch

- Experience within Social Housing / Local Authority properties
