We are looking for a skilled Plumbing Repairs Technician to join our Direct Labour Organisation. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems and want to make a real difference for residents, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the Role
As a key member of our repairs team, you will carry out a wide range of plumbing and general maintenance tasks across our homes. You will work independently, using your multi-skilled expertise to deliver high quality repairs with a strong focus on achieving a first time fix. Your main area of work will be Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, although you may occasionally travel to surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day to day plumbing repairs including drainage issues, blockages and general maintenance
- Complete associated tasks such as re-tiling, fitting bath panels and making good
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults aiming for a first time fix
- Deliver excellent customer service in every home you visit
- Follow safety procedures and complete risk assessments
- Maintain accurate digital records using your tablet
- Use materials efficiently and look after company equipment
What We’re Looking For
Must haves
- City and Guilds Part One and Two, NVQ Level Two or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of domestic plumbing repairs and fault finding
- Experience with general building tasks such as tiling or decorating
- Full clean UK manual driving licence
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
