SOS Group Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager / Supervisor to oversee a substantial groundworks package on a project in Worksop. This scheme involves the extension of an existing live industrial unit, so experience working within operational facilities is essential. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing and coordinating all groundworks activities on site.
Project Scope Includes:
- Full drainage installation (surface & foul)
- Attenuation tanks and associated infrastructure
- Foundations
- External works
- Service ducting
- Associated groundworks and infrastructure packages
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day supervision of site operations
- Managing subcontractors and direct labour
- Coordinating works around a live operational environment
- Ensuring programme targets are achieved
- Maintaining strict H&S standards and site compliance
- Liaising with the client, project team and stakeholders
- Reporting progress and managing site documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing groundworks packages
- Strong background in drainage, tanks, foundations & externals
- Experience working on live facilities / phased projects
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid
- CSCS (Black/Gold preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
