We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant civil engineering and infrastructure scheme. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Project Manager with a strong background in highways, infrastructure, earthworks and drainage projects to take ownership of a complex multi-disciplinary package from site mobilisation through to completion.

Scope of Works

  • Section 38 adoptable highway construction
  • Earthworks and land formation
  • Foul pumping station installation
  • Substation base construction
  • Storm drainage infrastructure
  • Attenuation systems and hydro brake chamber
  • Watercourse culverting works
  • Associated headwalls and ancillary civils works

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for safe and successful project delivery
  • Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Programme management and progress reporting
  • Commercial awareness and cost control
  • Client and stakeholder liaison
  • Ensuring quality, environmental and health & safety standards are maintained
  • Managing project risks and resolving technical/site issues

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects as a Project Manager
  • Strong background in highways, drainage, earthworks and utility-related works
  • Experience managing Section 38 schemes desirable
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to drive programme and manage multiple stakeholders
