Start Date: 14th April
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a project team working on a building extension, including reinforced concrete (RC) frame works. This is a 6-month contract role, ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented engineer with strong setting out experience across groundworks and structural packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for drainage, earthworks, foundations, slabs, pile caps, and RC frame elements
- Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring accurate implementation on site
- Maintaining quality control procedures and ensuring work is completed to specification
- Supporting RC frame construction including columns, walls, and formwork alignment
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Conducting site surveys and producing as-built records
- Ensuring health & safety standards are adhered to at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on similar projects, including RC frame works
- Strong knowledge of setting out for groundworks and reinforced concrete structures
- Proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and RC detailing drawings
- CSCS card (essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
