Job Title: Permanent Site Agent – Water Infrastructure & Better Rivers Projects Location: North West England (United Utilities Framework) Employer: Leading Civil Engineering Principal Contractor About: Our client are a trusted Principal Contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure projects across the UK. As a key delivery partner on the United Utilities AMP8 Framework, they are committed to driving innovation, sustainability, and quality while improving water infrastructure and enhancing river health for local communities. The Role They are seeking an Experienced Site Agent to join their team on a Permanent basis, taking responsibility for the management and delivery of water and environmental projects within the United Utilities Framework. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners. * Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards. * Oversee planning, programming, and resourcing of works. * Manage client and stakeholder relationships to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery. * Control project budgets, reporting progress and addressing risks proactively. * Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives on-site in line with Framework goals. About You * Proven experience in a Site Agent or Sub Agent role within civil engineering, ideally on water infrastructure or environmental projects. * Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and framework delivery. * Demonstrated ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders. * Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills. * A proactive leader with a strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
