We're representing a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering major water and infrastructure projects across the North West. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of AMP8 work, they're looking to appoint an experienced General Foreman to join their team on wastewater treatment and heavy civils schemes across Lancashire & Cumbria.

The Role

As General Foreman, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. You'll lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, monitor productivity and quality, and work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to successfully deliver projects.

  • Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW)
  • Heavy Civils
  • Reinforced Concrete (FRC)
  • Drainage

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Foreman within the water or heavy civils sector.
  • Strong background delivering wastewater treatment or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate daily site activities.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.
