Job Overview
We are seeking a Gas Engineer who will deliver excellent service standards, meet SLA agreements, and adhere to maintenance schedules. This is a permanent, non‑freelance role with immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on commercial gas appliances and associated systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs within contractual timescales.
- Support plumbing and basic electrical maintenance tasks where required.
- Complete all relevant documentation and certification accurately and on time.
- Monitor subcontractors on site and issue permits for small works as required.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- City & Guilds Level II/III (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Valid commercial gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1), TPCP1 & TPCP1A, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1.
- Experience working with HVAC systems, including air handling units.
- Good knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Basic electrical knowledge and plumbing experience.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
