A growing technology consultancy is seeking an AI Solution Architect to act as the technical authority across client engagements. This is a highly client-facing role, working alongside commercial teams during discovery, design and solution shaping, translating business challenges into scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions.
You will own end-to-end solution design, shape the organisation's AI reference architectures, and ensure solutions are technically robust, commercially viable and aligned to client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the technical lead across client discovery workshops and solution design engagements
- Work closely with sales and commercial teams to shape AI-led solutions that address real business challenges
- Translate customer requirements into clear, deliverable architectures
- Own and evolve internal AI reference architecture frameworks
- Design scalable, secure and best-practice solutions across the Microsoft AI, data and automation ecosystem
- Provide technical assurance and credibility to senior client stakeholders
- Balance technical excellence with commercial viability and delivery feasibility
- Support pre-sales activity including proposals, bids and client presentations
- Senior-level experience as a Solution Architect within an MSP, IT services or consultancy environment
- Strong expertise across the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including: Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure AI
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI architectures, including:
- Designing and deploying LLM-based solutions such as copilots, chatbots and knowledge assistants
- Understanding of prompt engineering, grounding and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Applying governance, security and ethical considerations in AI deployments
- High-impact, strategic senior role shaping AI capability within a growing consultancy
- Exposure to senior stakeholders and complex transformation programmes
